Statutory bodies

Management Council The Stewardship Council is the body responsible for administrative, asset and financial management, as well as human resources management, and the legislation in force for public bodies with administrative autonomy applies to it. Permanent Council The Permanent Council is an advisory body to the President, with the aim of standardising policies and procedures and agreeing strategies of global interest to the Institute. Student Ombudsperson The Student Ombudsperson is a person of recognised academic and teaching merit at the UPB, with a proven reputation for integrity and independence, designated by the President of the UPB, after consulting the highest student body. He/she has total independence in the exercise of his/her duties and cannot fulfil any management functions. The Ombudsperson works in conjunction with the student associations and, in particular, the Pedagogical Councils.
