From the world to UPB_before arrival

Before arrival at UPB – accommodation and health insurance UPB does not have any residences for students on international mobility. However, it is relatively easy to find accommodation in Bragança, Mirandela or Chaves. These cities have a modern housing stock available for rent at very competitive prices.  Once the mobility period has been confirmed, students can immediately contact the GRI, which will help them find accommodation. UPB also has a Foreign Student Support Association which plays a fundamental role in the integration of students on mobility and complements the service provided by the GRI. Among other things, this association also provides support in obtaining accommodation. Interested students can contact the Association by emailing ipb.aaae@gmail.com. Regarding health care, it is highly recommended that the mobility student has personal health insurance cover valid in Portugal.
