Science and Technology Management The science and technology management department is responsible for: (1) drawing up institutional and structuring applications, namely to attract investment for infrastructure, equipment or human resources; (2) promoting, boosting and monitoring research and innovation projects (identifying and communicating business needs and ideas; selecting funding mechanisms and looking for strategic partners; supporting the exploitation of results with dissemination in technology supply/demand catalogs and registration and licensing of industrial/intellectual property; monitoring scientific production and relevant indicators); (3) coordinating science communication activities.
