The employment opportunities pool of the Bragança Polytechnic University (UPB) is a tool to facilitate students’ transition to the job market. This platform provides a centralized space for companies and students to connect, facilitating the search for and offer of job opportunities aligned with the skills and aspirations of graduates. By making job offers available to UPB’s student and alumni community, this structure works as an effective means of promoting proximity and integration between academia and the professional environment.
This platform is essential in building each student’s professional profile, allowing them to get to know the real needs of companies and organizations and the skills that are most valued, and to identify the gaps in their CVs that can be filled with the curricular training and 10% Escolhes TU! offers that the UPB provides.
From the employers’ point of view, the job exchange is a privileged means of access to talented recent graduates and to academia, also allowing them to integrate training offers specific to their needs.
UPB’s job exchange privileges social networks and mailing lists by field of training as communication channels. The specific platform for the job exchange is currently being redesigned.
