Digital Services
All users of the UPB academic community have an UPB user account created from the information registered in the academic system or other directories.
This allows access to various services, such as the wireless network (eduroam), secure access to UPB’s private network resources, collaborative teaching tools, email, etc.
The MyCONFIG.CCOM Portal –
myconfig.ipb.pt allows you to configure various parameters related to the Internet Services provided by the UPB Communications Center.
Access is restricted, subject to credentials.
Anti-Plagiarism
The UPB undertakes numerous measures to promote the integrity of teaching and research. In this context, the Turnitin anti-plagiarism software is available to the entire academic community.
This software makes it possible to check the originality of the work submitted by the UPB community, comparing it with existing documents in various databases and on the internet, and generating a similarity report.
Each teacher, student and researcher has access to the software by logging on to Turnitin’s website or via the extension integrated into UPB’s Sakai platform (
virtual.ipb.pt).
