General principles

The use of UPB’s technological infrastructures must be carried out in strict accordance with the institution’s statutes, with a view to pursuing its mission, under the terms of article 2 of Law no. 62/2007, of 10 September (which approves the Legal Framework for Higher Education Institutions).    The principle of responsible use applies to all users of UPB infrastructures. UPB reserves the right to change the conditions expressed herein and apply containment measures in situations where it believes that the use of its technological resources is not in accordance with the above. UPB’s technological infrastructures may not be used for commercial purposes or, in general, for purposes that are not compatible with UPB’s institutional purpose. The use of technological infrastructures for advertising purposes is only authorised to promote activities within the scope of the Institute’s mission. Users are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the applicable laws and the provisions of this policy, and ignorance of them is no justification for violating them.
