I want to take exams to evaluate my capacity to attend more than one UPB course. How can I do this?

You must apply for each course/cycle of study you want. However, there will be exams that are considered equivalent and to which the following ranking rules apply. The legislation establishes that passing the exams for access to higher education is effective when applying for admission to the institution/course pair for which they were taken. However, it also allows the exams to be used to apply for enrolment in more than one course/cycle of study at the same higher education establishment. As such, the Bragança Polytechnic University has established that the selection rules will be as follows (article 11 of the Regulations for the Special Competitions for Access and Entry to the Cycle of Studies leading to the degree of Bachelors, available in the Academic Regulations menu): a) Candidates who pass the Bragança Polytechnic University exams will be ranked first according to their final classification, rounded to the nearest hundredth. In the event of a tie, candidates will be ranked by curriculum evaluation; b) If, after the procedure described in the previous paragraph, there are still vacancies in a given course at the Bragança Polytechnic University, the candidates from the UPB or another higher education establishment who have passed the exams considered to be equivalent will be ranked second, according to the final classification obtained in those exams, on a scale of 0-20 points. In the event of a tie, candidates will be ranked by curriculum evaluation; c) Each year, the Technical-Scientific Councils of the UPB Schools define which exams taken at the UPB are considered equivalent for the purposes of the ranking provided for in point b); d) Assessing the equivalence of exams taken at another higher education establishment is the responsibility of the Technical-Scientific Councils of the UPB Schools; e) The tie-breaker provided for in points a) and b) is the responsibility of the Technical-Scientific Councils of the UPB Schools.
