Careers

The Bragança Polytechnic University (UPB) takes on the responsibility of empowering its students for employability and career planning and development, recognizing the relevance of providing students not only with academic knowledge, but also with practical and applied skills essential for the job market.

The training program involves offering curricular and extracurricular internships in partnership with employers, the possibility of joining teams working on complex challenges set by companies and other collaborations with industry, the public and social sectors, providing students with real experience in their professional field.

In addition, UPB offers an annual range of workshops, seminars and career guidance services that cover topics such as CV writing, interview techniques and the development of interpersonal skills, strengthening students’ preparation for the professional world.

UPB’s program includes ongoing support that continues after the completion of the study cycles, opening up the possibility for alumni to participate in events, mentoring programs and career advice, either as beneficiaries or as speakers and mentors, promoting interaction between alumni and students.

Diploma supplement_1

The diploma supplement is a complementary document to the diploma that is awarded at the end of a study programme and contains a description of the higher education system in the country of origin of the diploma, characterising the institution that provided the education and awarded the diploma, the training undertaken and its objective, as well as providing detailed information on the training undertaken, its objectives and the results obtained. The Diploma Supplement is purely of an informative nature, does not replace the diploma and does not constitute proof of ownership of the qualification to which it refers. It is issued automatically by the UPB whenever a diploma is awarded and at no additional cost. Examples of diploma supplements:
