A group of final-year students from the Music in Community Contexts course at the School of Education organized an Original Music Themes Competition. This competition aims to create spaces for socializing and contact with different audiences, as well as to stimulate the creation of different musical genres, in which originality should be the inherent characteristic. The competition is open to the entire academic community and the city of Bragança.
Bragança Cathedral hosted the “Magnificat” concert, with the participation of students from the School of Education’s Music in Community Contexts study cycle, the Domus orchestra (a symphony orchestra formed by the Conservatoire’s youth orchestra in partnership with the Bragança Philharmonic), the choir from the CIRAC association in Paços de Brandão and the choir from the second cycle of the Bragança Conservatoire’s articulated music course.
